Requesting information from our service.
After switching routes, select “Check Again” to compare your public IP and location. Geolocation is based on an IP database and may not match the actual location.
Your public IP is the address a website sees when it receives your request. Check it before and after connecting to a route; a change may mean your request is leaving through a different endpoint. This alone cannot confirm that all your apps use the same route.
Country, region, and ISP are identified using IP address databases. These databases are updated over time and may place a data center in a nearby area. Use the results to check your apparent exit location, not to pinpoint your device’s location.
This page displays “Detected” or “Not detected” only when the service explicitly returns a result. Detection depends on the address data used by the service and does not establish every aspect of your connection’s privacy. If no result is provided, the page will say so.
Your public IP and DNS queries follow separate paths and should be checked independently. The GeoIP result on this page shows only the exit address seen by our service; it is not a DNS test.
Connect to the route you plan to use in your client, then note the public IP and location shown above.
Check the DNS query logs provided by your device or client to see which servers actually resolve domain names. If you use a separate DNS testing tool, review its privacy policy first.
Compare the DNS resolvers with your expected route settings. If queries still use an unexpected network, review your client’s DNS and routing rules, reconnect, and test again.
We do not log your lookup. Selecting Check Again sends another request to our service; the copy button only copies the IP shown on this page. Share results thoughtfully, and do not treat them as a complete privacy audit.
